Journal#45 Soccer

For the last time in this class and in this Journal I'm going to write about my favorite sport, which is soccer. I like soccer, soccer is the best sport ever in the world. Since I was a little kid my passion for this sport grow up. Today soccer in me is my heart, well not really in my heart because my girlfriend is there, but i like soccer as much as a kid love his candy, and like I said soccer is life.

Journal#44 What I like about this course.

What I like about this course is writing. Writing the Journals is so interesting, because I learn more. I also like the way the teacher explain how to do the essays, she explain it very good in a way that we learn. I don't have nothing that I don't like About this class. This class is great.

Journal#43 Venezuela Presidency

A constitutional referendum was held in Venezuela on December 2, 2007 to amend 69 articles of the 1999 Constitution. Reform was needed, according to Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, to implement his socialist agenda; detractors said he was using the reforms to become a dictator. This reform was going to make Hugo Chavez powerful like Fidel Castro President of Cuba.

Journal#42 A recruit was shot.

A recruit was shot in leg during training Tuesday night at the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy in Phoenix.The shooting occurred when the Department of Public Safety recruit was out on the firing range around 9 p.m., with the other recruits. Another unfortunately incident that kills people.

Journal#41,

I recently learn how to read, write and speak English. It was really hard for me to learned this new language I'm improving my English, I have three years here, and in those three years I have learn alot.I hopping to learn another thing that's is my dream. How to start a new bussine that's another thing that i want to learn.

Journal#40Mall shooting in Nebraska.

The Westroads Mall shooting occurred on December 5, 2007 at Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. Around 1:40 p.m., a gunman on the third floor of the Von Maur store in the Westroads Mall opened fire, killing eight and wounding five others, some critically,before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.The gunman is believed to have fired a total of 60 shots. Another unfortunately incident.

Journal#39 Suns against Toronto Raptors

Suns Against Toronto Raptors. This game is going to be an easy game for the greats suns. I'm not a suns fan, but I think that this game is going to be easy for them. Even though they are going to play in Canada they are still going to beat them.

Journal#38 The worst thing.

Until now I don't have nothing that I remember was worst thing for me. I remember one time when I had 8 years old when I was playing soccer and I miss a penalty that was the worst thing that happened to me.

Journal#37NOTHING GOOD

This week nothing good had happen to me. This is the baddest week I ever had. I suppose to receive a new cell phone today, but i haven't get it. I suppose to have soccer practice today, but we are not going to practice because of the rain. Nothing good so far!

Journal#36 Upcoming storm.

Another weekend storm is coming. they are saying that it could clean the air and bring cool temperatures to our weather. They are also saying that this storm can come Friday afternoon. This is really bad for me, because if it rains I'm not going to have soccer games. That's why I don't want this weekend to be raining!!!

Journal#35 Christmas!

Christmas is approaching the most wonderful day for me.Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. Christmas festivities often combine the commemoration of Jesus' birth with various secular customs, many of which have been influenced by earlier winter festivals. The date as a birth date for Jesus is traditional, and is not considered to be his actual date of birth.

Journal#34 The most important

Being popular, accomplish things and being organized, for those three things accomplish things is the most important for me. Is the most important for me because it make me do things that can help in the future. I want to Finish the college and start my own business I want to accomplish that. That is why the most important thing is to accomplish things.

Journal#33 NuDE SHOPPERS.

wOW!!!!! I can believe that two persons went to a store without any clothes to buy food. That's discus ting! The manager of the store didn't called the police, they were laughing at them. Looking at the surveillance video, the stunt appeared to be harmless. Perhaps they were just looking for a little exposure.

Journal#32 feature picture

I really like the feature picture of the scene Orlando Furioso (Orlando the furious) its a really good picture, it grab my attention, because of the eagle horses, and because of the horses dragons that they paint. I like to draw that's why I think this picture grab my attention.

Journal#31 car accident

What an unfortunately day Wednesday where 2 people died in a car accident at salt river reservation. A police pursuit ended in a crash that killed two people and injured another one. At the police conference they said that this pursuit began because a suspected of bank robbery was speeding. It's so sad that this kind of accidents turn to be killer accidents. The police couldn't do anything else they died .

Journal#30, Famous.

I would like to be famous, that's the most wonderful thing that almost everyone dream about to be famous. I would like to be famous to help people with low resources that's the first thing that I'm going . I'm also like to be famous because I have a dream that if someday i become famous I would like to buy a big house for my Mom that's another reason why I would like to be famous.

Journal#29,Free writing.

Thanksgiving is approaching is getting time to give thanks to god. Thanksgiving, is an annual one day holiday to give thanks to god, for the things one has at the end of the harvest season. Here in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving the fourth Thursday of November, but in Canada is the second week of October. We are preparing ourselves to eat and give thanks to god.

Journal#28,Unfortunately inccident.

Last Wednesday an unfortunately incident occurred in Western Iraq. A car bomb exploded killing 6 people. The most terrible of this is that two children's died. I don't understand why people there give their life to hurt another one. They want to kill the soldiers that the U.S. is sending, but in their intent to kill them they kill Innocent people. Our World today is about war and we have to face it.

JOurnal#27,Most, want, and hope to do!!!

Today my must, want, and hope to do activities are to improve my writing, finish all my late work and do my work in class. I have some works that I haven't turned it in that's my must do activity. What I want to do is improve my writing, because I have problems writing some big words. My hope to do activity is to finish my home work that I have to turn it in Friday. Must, want, and hope to do activities.

Journal#26,Terraforming of Mars.

I'm so impress, because of the Terraforming of Mars. Mars is another planet where humans can live, as you see in this picture, scientists explain the faces of Mars, how Mars is going to look in the future. I really liked this article and I don't even have words to describe this natural change.

Journal#25,The best thing.

The best thing about this class so far is the writing. I really don't like to write, but since I'm in this class writing is the best thing that I enjoyed. Now writing is my hobby. So far in this class writing is the best thing. It is the best thing because it makes you thing, it makes your brain work it makes you a better person. Writing is the best thing about this class so far.

Journal#24,School shooting.

The city of Helsinki, Finland was the place where an unfortunately incident occur. An 18 year old man opened fire at a high school killing 1 student and wounding three others. I think there should be more security, because its a school. They should check out their backpacks before entering school to prevent future incidents. This incidents have been occurring all around the world and its because schools don't have enough security.

Journal#23, !!!HALLOWEEN!!!

Be happy and be haunting. Slip into that perfect disguise that will advertise who you really are. Get sexy and be sure to set out plenty of Kit Kat's for the kids. Take a break from the war on terror and terrify someone to death. Go on, have another party and a Mars Bar chaser. Party hard but stay out of the cementery. It's Halloween, the most dizzily dissonant holiday of the year. Don't be afraid it just once a year. It's okay to be scared, because tonight your worse nightmare its going to come and get you. Trick or treat are the magic words. If don't say those words they are going to get you!.It's Halloween, and if you think you are not afraid of nothing think it twice because its Halloween..... Happy Halloween!!!

Journal#22, The hardest thing.

So far in this class everything seems to be easy with an exception of the 5 paragraph essays. The hardest thing so far are the essays. Sometimes I get confuse and I don't understand how to do it , but I read and Read and read to understand. It seems to be hard , but when you get it it is very easy. So far the essays for me are the hardest thing in this class.

Journal#21,Boston Red Sox.

What a great victory of Boston Red Sox against the Colorado Rockies Sunday night. This victory gave the Red Sox their second title in four years. They completely swept them. I knew that the Red Sox were going to win because, they have a great team and they put all their effort to won this title. I'm not a baseball fan but, they showed me how baseball is play, if you want something you have to play with all that you have, you have to show them how to play baseball.Congratulations Boston on a great World Series win.

Journal#20,Michael Francke.

I didn't know that the murder of Michael Francke while he was at work became the basis of the movie "without evidence". This article talks about how Michael died and why the movie was about him. The article says that "was based on the Francke murder and subsequent investigations by Kevin Francke, Michael's brother". I learn that this was a hard case that soon became a battleground between the newspapers, because everyone wanted the official version of what happened. I like this article because is an interesting case it grab my attention, hope you read it someday.

Journal#19,Hard Work.

So far in this course I'm doing good even though things in class had change. More work and harder things are coming, but I thing I can handle it. I like the way the teacher explains how to do our work, and I also like doing the journals, it had improve my writing and reading, that's why I like this class. I don't have nothing that I don't like about this class, this class is great and I hope to keep how it is.

Journal#18, Diamondbacks.

I don't understand how the Diamondbacks keep on loosing against the Rockies. Diamondbacks made a great season, but it seems to be that the luck is over. I can believe they are loosing 3 games to 0, that's not good, but if they have the power that they use during the season where they won 20 of its 21 games they would be able to defeat the Rockies. Even though they are at the border of elimination they have to keep their heads up and believe in their selves to complete this challenge.

Journal#17, Hurricane Hadley,1780.

Hurricane Hadley, the deadliest Atlantic Hurricane in 1780 killed many people.The first Hurricane with winds exceeding 200 mph, the first one to kill around 22,000 people.The winds also destroyed every house on its way. I didn't know that this hurricane happened during the American Revolution War.The storm caused heavy losses to the British and French fleets contesting for control of the area. I fell bad for those people who died during that time, I hope no Hurricanes like the Hurricane Hadley come again.

Journal#16,Soccer.

Goal!!!!! that is the most spectacular thing that you want hear during a soccer game. Soccer is my life, without soccer is like me without school. Everyone in this world have an addiction, well soccer is my addiction. Every day, every minute, every second, my life is soccer. The first present that my parents gave me was a soccer ball. A soccer ball for me is like a notebook and pencil, without it I can't do nothing. Thanks to god for giving me this addiction, I love soccer, but I also love girls, that is a perfect combination. I realize now what's most important in life, soccer, because soccer is an addiction for the ones who like sports.

Journal#15,Gang fight.

The gangs in Phoenix are making our city look bad. I read in this article that on Wednesday a gang fight occur.The police arrive there before the fight became worse. A women got shot by other rival gang member. The police believe that this that around 20 people were involved in this fight. Police have not recovered the weapon, but are obtaining a search warrant for the house, where this incident took place.

Journal#14, My plan.

In every soccer game there is a time at the beginning of the game to warm up. I came with a plan, so my teammates can warm up. A good warm up for coaching sessions dealing with instep passing and/or shooting. Start with players sitting down and kicking the football out of their hands. Look for good technique, ankle locked, toe pointed, strike ball with laces, plant foot facing target, leaning forward, no spin on ball, head position. This plan that I came out with work really good, because when we didn't warm up almost 3 players got injure, but now that we have this warm up plan we don't have to worry about it.

Journal#13,Favorite commercial.

My favorite commercial is that one where professional soccer players play soccer with a Pepsi soda can. I like it because its funny how they play with a can, but I really like it because they play soccer, and as you see soccer is my passion. All the commercials that are related to soccer are my favorite, but most of them just pass in T.V. when is going to be a great soccer event. I also like those commercials because Rodaldinho a professional soccer player is there. My favorite commercials has to be related to soccer.

Journal#12,Meth Project.

Arizona is making a very great campaign to carry a great project about the people that are using Meth to its third phase. This campaign lunch in April, the impact in Arizona has been anecdotal. This is really impacting people, It's getting their attention. They are talking to their friends about not using Meth. Parents are talking to their kids about how dangerous is this type of drug. I support this project because I want them to have a better future.

Journal#11,Incas and Aztecs Pyramids.

The most spectacular place I ever seen was when I went to Peru. Peru is a great place. I went to this place because I always wanted to see the Aztecs and Incas Pyramids. Aztecs and Incas were people with a rich mythology and cultural heritage. I was very exited because I have never see something like that. Muchu Pichu is the great place that I visit. Machu Pichu means old mountain. They also call it the lost city of the Incas. Muchu pichu was rediscover in July 24,1911. Muchu pichu is a great city Because its built with rocks. The Incas built it with big rocks while intended to provide a country refuge for the royals, Machu Picchu steathly served as a method to institute Incan presence in the area. Certainly, from this high vantage point, the Inca could observe and regulate travel and commerce which proceeded in and out of the Sacred Valley. That is why this is the most spectacular place I ever seen.

Journal#10,Motor-bike fight continue.

I read in this article that a 50 year old man was arrested for driving a Motor-bike. I didn't know that Arizona had a law that say that if a bicycle has a motor you have to drive it in a regular lane of the street and not in the bicycle line. The 50 year old man drove his motor-bike in a bicycle lane that's why he was arrested. The police officer suspended his driver licences, the old man didn't understand and he went out in the streets with his motor-bike again. the police officer was lying, he said that he was going up to 28 mph, but the computer tells them another thing. I would thing that they have better things to do. Instead of stopping innocent people, how about the red light runners. This man is not having a fair trail, but since they are the law, they can do whatever they want...

Journal#9,Thipon Whipa.

It's horrible the situation that Shungai a city of China is passing. What the scientist thought was going to be a tropical storm, it turned to be a deadly powerful storm called Thipon Whipa. I think is the scientists fault that the deadly storm killed a man. The predictions were not like they said. People of Shungai were confident that they were telling the true, but it was not. Many houses are destroyed, but that is not the badess thing. Many communities have flooted streets and people do not have what to eat. The situation that they are passing is just horrible.

Journal#8,So far so good.

At the beginning of the semester, I thought that this class was going to to be easy, but with the pass of the time it went from easy to hard. Well I like this class. Now in this four weeks that we have, things seems to be challenging for me because I never had college classes before. I'm putting all my effort to complete this semester. So far so good. It is good because I like this class, I like it because we learn about the writing methods. I don't have nothing to say about why I don't like this class, this class is great and so far like I said I like the writing method.

Journal#7,Myself.

Something I noticed about myself today is, that I'm so tire because of the running of yesterday in a soccer practice. I have notice that my body is not here. I feel like a sleep walker. I have also notice that I have lose weight, that was the very first thing that I notice today, although the tireness was dropping me off. I notice that I had never got this tire before, I think this is because of the hard work. Well I'm hopping to recover faster so I can return to the soccer fields again.

Journal#6,Officer kills a man.

A police officer killed a 21 year old man. Although he could it been use other way to protect himself, this was the easy way. It was on self defence. If I were on the position of the officer I've could it done the same thing. The man had a knife, he was allegedly treatened the officers with it. Well in the World that we live today the technology is very advance, they could it use an electrical gun to drop him down. I'm not in favor of anyone but I think this was the right thing that the officers did.

Journal#5,Did you know...

I have just read the "Did you know....."article. I did not know that the capital of Rio DE Janeiro is cross by 18Th century Arcos da lapa. I also learned that the first mayor Filipino of the united states was Eduardo Mala pit He also was the mayor of Kauai in 1974-1982. This one was the most interesting part of the article because it says that in 1952 Farnborough crash was the last time spectators were killed in an accident at a British Airshow. I always like to read the newspaper because of this section, it is interesting and it tells you things that we didn't even know about it.

Journal#4,Famous.

I would like to be a famous person because, I'm going to get to travel around the World giving autographs and passing a good time. I would also like it because, I'm going to get money to buy whatever I want, but also to make my dreams come true. Another reason is to help the poor people that need economically help. Those people who are passing bad times because of the natural disasters. That is why I would like to be a famous person.

Journal#3,The good dared.

I remember this time like if it were yesterday, a friend of mine dared me to talk to a girl who was with a guy. I didn't know if it was her boyfriend or not, well my braveness was in play and I was not going to let myself loose. I went to talk to the girl, the young man looked at me with his tremendous eyes. He ask me, "what are you doing with my girl? ". I told him that I know her since elementary school where we were friends and that her parents took her out because they needed to move some place else. Thats why I was saying hello to her. I really didn't know her, but she was acting like she really did know me. I was very nervous but things came out good. This is the time that I always going to remember because now that young girl that I talk to that day, is my girlfriend.

Journal#2, My skills.

My strongest communication skills that I think I have, is talking. I like to talk and ask questions because if you dont ask you are going to do nothing. In class I like to be part of it, I like to participate. My talents for sports are great. Well thats what I think. Soccer is my life, I have many talents in soccer thats why I will like to be a professional soccer player. This are my talents and skills.

Journal#1, My Goals

My real world goals are to become a professional soccer player and a professional game designer. The video games have always call my attention. I've always ask myself, How are the video games made? who made the video games? that's why i will like to become a professional game designer. I also have goals for this course, my first goal is to improve my writing. I'm not a good writer but I want to become one. I also want to learn how to use a computer, I really don't know how a computer works but I'm learning with the help of the instructor. My real world goals and my goals for this course are stated in this short paragraph I hope that one day my dreams come true.
